Optics, the ATN PS40 gives your daytime scope Night
Vision capability in a matter of seconds. The ATN
PS40 mounts in front of a Daytime Scope to enable
nighttime operation. No shift of impact, no need to
rezero nor change of eye relief occurs. The ATN PS40
uses the latest in image intensifier tube technology
for outstanding resolution and performance.
Precision optical alignment is essential for a front
sight system to work properly. This is why each ATN
PS40 is individually tested and aligned on an
optical scale by our engineers to provide perfect
alignment. The ATN PS40 is one of the most compact
and lightweight NV systems in its class, at only 840
grams.
The ATN PS40-3P
MGC has a Variable Gain Control to manually adjust
the IIT brightness.

Phosphor Technology© (WPT™)In ATN's
continuing effort to supply our clients with cutting
edge Night Vision Systems, we are proud to introduce
a new line of select units based on ATN White
Phosphor Technology© (WPT™).
Studies show that scenes at night time appear
remarkably more natural in black and white versus
the usual green. B&W provides clearer information
about contrast, shapes and shadows. ATN's White
Phosphor Technology© provides users with this
natural B&W Night Vision Image.
The majority of the WPT™ performance characteristics
are on par or better than the latest Gallium
Arsenide based Image Intensifier Tubes. WPT™
specifications include typical resolution of 68lp/mm
(with some over 74lp/mm) and Signal-to-Noise figures
as high as 25.
Operators who tested units, that use ATN WPT™,
reported a significantly better degree of detail,
overall contrast, full-moon similarity and range of
shades. WPT™ provides more discriminating shades of
intensity between white and black than between green
and black resulting in better contrast and depth
perception than when compared to green phosphor
NVGs.
